Our superbly nice driver HENDRY who really show us where to eat good food.
Image yourself eating in small hut with a lot of greenies surrounding, weather is very nice, the wind is good and the food smells like heaven ...... and cost you less than RM100 for 6.
I don't care how much I uploaded this food stuffs because there are totally delicious ....yummy
You will be eating at the nice kabana and served very well indeed.
Nice restaurant ....just for you to satisfy your stomach. Nice restaurant, beautiful people and very nice sudanase food.
A lots and lots of " Ulam" to eat .... if we all can eat a lot of these may be we all will be healthier.
Wow the biggest " air kelapa" I have ever seen but they called with different sudanese name and I cannot remember what it was. You should try coffe mixed with coconut milk instead of cow's milk@creams.... delicious.
Don't ask me what it is .... all I know when you order something to eat that will include a glass of tea for free. Vegetables are very cheap and often it comes to in a bowl.
For meal, there are so many nice restaurants around for you to try out the local Sundanese cuisine. Among those are Kampung Daun, Sapu Lidi, Ayam Goreng Suharti, DapurKu and The Valley. I would recommend that you go to Kampung Daun and The Valley for dinner. KampungKu serves local cuisine and its located along a stream. Guests are allocated individual cabanas for the meals. Well who cares ...... find any good restaurant and EAAAATTTTTT

THE MONEY AND THE JEANS in BANDUNG

You can get a pair of these "BVLGARY" for around 165000K rupiah only which is around RM40 with good quality fabrics and follows the actually temporary designs. Color not faded as I already washingmachine it. And a lots of Tag you can choose from BVLGARY, HUGO by BOSS, ARMANI, VERSASE, LV, PRADA etc and to my surprise the quality of the fabrics is fantastically good. May be they can start with their own brand!
,
The Money ..... well the smallest will be 100 rupiah but nothing much you can buy with that. Then 500Rp, 1000Rp, 5000Rp, 10000Rp, 20000Rp, 50000Rp and 100000Rp. No wonder to buy a toyota innova will cost you around 120Million rp. If you're talking about millions dollar that is about Miliyar Rp. Forget the 500Rp because most of the time you will not need it. A bottle of coke will cost you 4000Rp. Taxis 15 minutes drive by metres is around 12000Rp ... and without meter will raise up 30000Rp so be careful.

PLACES for Shopping in BANDUNG
Shopping for clothing is a must if you visit Bandung.Don't bother about the mega shopping complexes. Try visited all those Factory Outlets Centres along the famous DAGO road you will be surprises how welcoming that place to you. Other roads include Riau and Ciwalk. For me it looks like a boutige, very cozy and relaxing places. Brand ? Well may be it is not genuine but you get most TAGs you want like BULGARY, HUGO by BOSS, ARMANI, VERSACE, VALENTINO, LA COSTE, LANGFORD, YSL, FERRARI even LAMBORGHINI etc. Quality of the fabrics are good but personally I like the choice of menswear available. A pair of those jeans will only cost you from 150K to 200K rupiah which is around USD20 to USD25 depending on the TAGS. With good exchange rate .... for any Malysian to Spend RM1000 you need to buy at least 15 pairs of these.
Looks good and you feels good
They are some factory outlet who promise to update their selection of clothing everyday to keep up with the current fashion. No surprise as Bandung itself is a city of fabric industries and a lot of factories around the city are doing contract manufacturing for those popular brands.....well that according to our "tourist Guard "
If you go visit during weekdays all these places are yours. Not crowded and you can bring your children along. With very spacious oulets, let them run around while you do the shopping and don't worry about them dissapear because the places are very well secured. You will be given a shopping bags or may be two to satisfy your need.
I don't dare to enter anything like these in my hometown because the set up looks expensive but here ...... you feel rich and you just enter and shop and don't care about tomorrow's budget. These places closed at 9 though because here the sun rise at 5 am in the morning.
Well ......so many places to go and we all manage to get a few.

SURPRISES IN BANDUNG CITY
1. Don't be suprise to be overcharge by the taxis and ANGKUTAN KOTA. Of course they know you are tourist and the taxi drivers opted not to use the meter, so irresponsible usually they will get double or triple from the normal rent.
2. I found out it is much cheaper to hire a MPV plus the driver. It will cost you around 400k to 500k ( around USD 40 )from 6 am to 9pm that will include petrol. With no obligation they will take it whereever you want it around bandung. From 6.00 am to 9.00 means you can have your breakfast, lunch and dinner at wherever place you wanted. Foods are cheap.
3. If you go sight seing please ignore the PEDAGANG @ street seller, they will overcharge and refuse their help of any kind to avoid you end up paying them for unnecessary things. For example if you happen to go to TAKUBAN PERAHU DO NOT follow the advice of the " paid " tourist guide ... plus so many "NICE " street sellers who will offer merchanmdise and favours all the way untill you gone mad. If you really want to go the active Volcano creeks just ask you driver to drop you at the nearest point so that you can walk 15 minutes to the area alone with no annoying " supporters ". Don't buy any merchandise there because you can get it at much cheaper price in the city.
4. Eat as you like .... CHEAP FOODs in Bandung. Eating very good food for 5 people at the fancy restaurant only cost you around 200K rupiah ( USD15 to 20 ). Bandung is food heaven.
5. Don't forget to do a lot of shopping .... cheap clothing at all factory outlets with good brand. I don't care whether there are imitation products or not because the quality of fabrics are excellent. Bandung is a city of clothing indusries in INDONESIA and may be that well explain why. SHOP UNTIL YOU DROPS.
6. For Golfers ..... yeah they say its good to ...... but I am not a golfers.

PLEASANT CITY OF BANDUNG
This was the HOTEL SUKAJADI we stayed on for 3 nights and 4 days. Small hotel with a very nice ambient. Easy to get taxis and 15 minutes from the shopping area. Just across the road there is a restaurant with good food. Renting during off peak days is around RM150 per nights depending on type of room.
NIce ..... looking at the GARDENISED area of the hotel soothing to my eyes.
Nice swimming pool with traditional feels surrounds. Mind you woods are cheap here.
The city of bandung I think is a pleasant place to relieve your mind. Being a Malaysian I noted that bandung is much colder. Not many mega Shopping Centres as in Kuala Lumpur but most of the so called FACTORY OUTLETS are small nice well decorated building not congested so my children can round around happily as if they were in the playground.

CHEAP AIRFARE WITH AIR ASIA

Now Malaysian can afford to travel to most part of the world with cheap airfare. Thanks to AIR ASIA. Just imagine for 6 people it was only cost us RM900 to travel from Kuala Lumpur tu Bandung and my two kids actually have their own seats. With two hours journey who need food onboard. No flight delay and hassle free flight. One thing suprised us the Bandung Airport is actuall a very small airport and you have to wrestle a bit to grab your luggage. Just like any other airport Taxis are readily available and tickets will be issued to you before hand to avoid overcharging.

ZOO NEGARA

Recently I brought my family to visit Zoo Negara which is surrounded by housing and comercial areas. But once you are inside you will not feel that way . The zoo vicinity is surrounded by fence of trees and some with high concrete walls. I think the goverment should granted more funds to beutify and improve the public facilities in the vicinity. Being the national treassures and tourist attraction the politicians should make a good stand to preserve it despite a lot of parties trying to lobby the goverment i.e the ruling politicians to relocate the Zoo and develop the area because of it prime land value. Thanks to the Minister Rais Yatim who apparently the only person in the parliment who make a brave stand to defence the existence of the ZOO. Not to forget the chairman Datuk Ismail Hudson who is always in constant war to preserve the place well.

ELIMINATE STRESS
Originally published December 13 2007 Natural Suggestions To Eliminate Stress From Your Life
by Steve G. Jones, M.Ed.
(NewsTarget) The holidays have arrived and while this is a joyful and exciting time, this can also be a stressful time for some. Let's take a look at ways we can relax year-round. It has been demonstrated in numerous studies that reducing stress will prolong your life and improve the quality of your everyday living experience.
Too often, I see clients in my office who are "stressed out." This manifests in a number of ways: Relationship difficulties, smoking, overeating, alcohol and drug use, etc.
All of these (when caused by stress) can be easily eliminated from our lives.
I always like to look at non-hypnotic solutions first. That is what I will focus on in this article; things you can do on your own. Certainly they are semi - hypnotic, but they do not require the skill of a trained professional. All they require is a few minutes of your day and a small amount of effort. Most of the stress-related problems we face can be eliminated by making a few simple adjustments in our lives and forming some good mental-maintenance habits.
Here are some of the steps you can take to reduce your stress:
Eliminate from your life every person and activity that drains you. Easier said than done? Try it. Simply stop participating in activities that take more than they give. Things that waste your time, resources, emotions, etc. I give you permission to stop them as of this moment. If you are in a debilitating relationship of any kind, end it today. Cut the tie. Move on. Feel free to blame it on me.
Take time to meditate. Set aside a half hour each day for yourself. Meditation doesn't have to mean that you sit in a lotus position in a robe looking at a candle. You can meditate in the morning while lying in bed staring at the ceiling, at night by going for a walk, in the shower, while cleaning, while washing your car, while painting, while writing, while swimming, while relaxing in a hot tub (my personal favorite), while waiting in a doctor's office, etc. There are so many opportunities for us to take a mental break, focus on ourselves, and gain clarity of thought. During the meditation, do the following:
1) Allow all of those chatty voices to talk. You know the ones... all of those conversations that play over and over in your head. The conversations you dwell on such as 'Why did so-and-so say that? Why did I say that? Why did he do that? What does that mean? When will this or that happen?'
2) Once they have quieted down, enjoy the nothingness, the silence, the occasional random thought among the placid lake you are beginning to imagine. This, just like step 1, requires almost no effort on your part; allow it to happen naturally.
3) This is the best part - focus your attention on a result. It could be the way you want your day to turn out, the job you want to create, the relationship you want to create or heighten, the house you want to buy, etc. It can be a short term or long term goal. Rather than thinking about all the reasons you can't get there, just focus on being there... in that job, relationship, house, etc. This is very powerful. The subconscious mind does not have the ability to distinguish between reality and fantasy. If you imagine something often enough, your subconscious mind will see it as reality and find ways to create it in your life. If you focus on that house often, you will be amazed at how many little ways you find to make it happen in reality. Maybe you meet that real estate agent and start a conversation about your dream house; "coincidentally" they have that very house available to show you this afternoon. Perhaps, as happened to a friend of mine, you run into that book agent, mention your dream book, and he makes the appropriate calls to get you the book deal you envisioned. The trick is to convince yourself that it has already happened, then your mind becomes programmed to make it reality.
Believe in infinite possibility and you will be rewarded. Always focus on the result, not the process or obstacles, the RESULT. Basketball players focus on the basket and imagine the ball going through it. They don't focus on all the people running around trying to stop them. Bowlers focus on the "pocket," that spot between the front pin and one of the pins next to it. They don't focus on the ball. When working with members of the Dodgers baseball team, I have them focus on the homerun or the perfect pitch. Top sales people focus on the next "yes", not the 99 "no's" between now and then. When I work with an overweight client, I have them focus on being slender. Create a clear vision of the result and hold it steady in your mind. There is unlimited power in focus.
I hope you will use these suggestions to improve your life. I use them and they work quite well. When we allow those voices to settle down, focus on nothing, then slowly focus our thoughts on the future we want, stress has no place in our lives. We drain the power from the dragon, we put it to rest, then we appropriately focus that power where we want it - we focus it on the powerful future we are creating for ourselves, our loved ones, and our friends. When we gain control of our lives, we inspire others to do the same. Live as an example of human potential. Live in infinite possibility.About the author

NEW CAR ......

I wonder how many new car has been intoduced to the consumer in the year 2007. May be thousands and I am not talking about the number of car produced just the number of models. The American cars are rarely seen in other part of the world especially in my region of Asia. I just know about it thru the internet .... our car magazine only shows car from japan, korea local malaysian made and of course german and british made well not to forget the Italian. Most of us malaysian are very familiar with Ferrari , lamborgini but not the ford mustang, shelby , dodge viper etc except of course you are the fan of miniature car like me.

Laughter as a therapy
Laugh as a therapy?
Read the magazine, READER's DIGEST and you will find a chapter called Laughter is the best Medicine. Are they true. Well check this out
Laughter's benefits on your health are no joke. Yes the they cannot cure all ailments but certainly data collected suggested how much laugh can do.
BENEFITS as suggested.
- A good laugh obviously indicates how good we feel at that moment. Data shows it actually induces physical changes.
- Stimulate your organs. Laughter increases oxygen-rich air intake, stimulates your cardio and lung, and definitely increases the endorphins that are released by your brain. A hormone which induces a lot of positive effect on our body.
- Activate your stress response. A laugh fires up and then cools down your stress response and increases your heart rate and blood pressure. The result? A good, relaxed feeling.
- Soothe tension and tummy aches. Laughter may ease up digestion and stimulate circulation and that helps reduce the physical symptoms of stress.
Long-term BENEFITSLaughter may:
- Improve your immune system. Negative thoughts manifest into chemical reactions that can impact your body by bringing more stress into your system and decreasing your immunity. In contrast, positive thoughts actually release neuropeptides that help fight stress and potentially more serious illnesses. In fact, in one study, people with cancer who watched a humorous video showed less stress and an increase in a particular cell activity that's beneficial in fighting diseases such as HIV and cancer.
- Relieve pain. Research increasingly shows that laughter may ease pain by causing the body to produce its own natural painkillers.
- Increase personal satisfaction. Laughter can also make difficult situations a little bit easier. One study of nurses who work in emergency rooms found that nurses who use humor in dealing with their patients and co-workers experience greater job satisfaction and feelings of personal accomplishment than do those who remain dour during their shifts.
Well do you still think Laughter is the best medicine ?
Go ahead and give it a try. Turn the corners of your mouth up into a smile and then give a laugh, even if it feels a little forced. Once you've had your hearty chuckle, take stock of how you're feeling. Are your muscles a little less tense? Do you feel more relaxed or buoyant? That's the natural wonder of laughing at work.

ANTI AGING
I just found this extract from a website talking about anti aging. Is it true that we can actually stop aging process. May be they should could it delay aging product. Read it :
Anti aging skin care
Anti aging skin care is not for the faint-hearted.
There are literally thousands of anti aging creams to choose from with new must-have magic ingredients appearing weekly in the beauty press. Anti aging is big business and millions of dollars are spent every year on the search for the ultimate anti aging cream.
The best anti aging skin care doesn't come cheap - so how do you choose where to put your money?
This part of the site helps you decide what products you need to keep your skin looking as young as possible - without blinding you with science. The aim is to take you through the types of anti aging skin care product available, what the ingredients are and what they claim to do in simple, non-scientific language.
And if you want to make sure you get updated articles and features on anti aging skin care as they're written - enter your email address in the box at the top of the page to get new content delivered straight to your in-box.
Finally if you're considering more radical anti aging treatments - take a look at the non-surgical facelifts site to find out about the real cost of botox, or get the low-down on laser skin resurfacing, dermabrasion and dermal fillers.

OLD HOUSE @ OLD TOWN

Living in the city is quiet hectic sometimes with all the air and noise polution. Flash flood in a very unexpected days and stuck in the traffic jam are very tiring to my mind. So I decided to take a break. Staying in the hotel ... no way same as the city with the swimming pool as exception. So I went to stay in my father in law old house in Batu Pahat. The house is horriblly old but well built for the last 50 years. Surrounded by the palm oil platation I could feel the nature more ... the night was very chilling but shoothing not like the artificial aircondition. The night is so peaceful you could hear all the night creatures creating music of the nature. I felt so fresh wake up in the morning. So sad I cannot stay here long to again going back to the city to make up some more bucks to keep up with the very distressing expensive life.
Looks old but actually have electricity and decent outside the house toliet with fresh water supply.

MY HOBBY
How to spend your extra time and money? Well let's start a hobby. Some people will spend a hell lot of their time and money to fulfill their hobby. I cannot afford both so I start collecting Hot Wheels miniature car, a hobby which is much cheaper compare to my previous liking to modified car for performance.
It all started with a reluctant spending on a weird design Hot Wheels car for my first son. I thought what a pieces of crap toy. At first I bought them because no matter how hard my little three years old boy play with them, it still intact in comparison to his other plastic toy. Sometimes its suprised on how much my boy spending his time just looking and spinning the small plastic tyre. So I bought more of for him and believe it or not now I have more than 100 miniature models. 60 percent from which comes from HOTWHEELs and the rest from the cheaper REALTOY. Well its still cheap hobby. I prefer to collect miniature which is based on the real models. Unfortunately most of derived from the so called " American muscle car " like chevy, dodge etc, some from Italian and german but less so from the japanese and korean made. The pictures showed the latest of my collection mainly the new Ferrari and Porsche series.
